A personal approach to eye care...

COVID-19 UPDATE

14th May 2020

The Practice will be staffed (on a limited basis) from 18th May. Initially we will be available, by phone and email only, between the hours of 9am to 1pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. We will increase these periods based on demand.

If you require lenses, solutions, repairs etc and are unable to contact us by phone, please email your requirements to icare@bdeyes.co.uk and we will call you back when we can. If payment is necessary then we will need to take payment by card over the phone.

The past few weeks have been very difficult for everybody, and we very much appreciate your patience and understanding during this period.

Unfortunately, because of the Coronavirus situation, it will not be "business as usual" and we are very restricted in the services we are able to offer. We will continue to operate in line with the latest HM Government advice as well as that from our professional bodies.

This is a unique situation and we, along with everyone else, are having to gradually work out what is possible and what is not possible in the circumstances.

All routine eye care has been suspended throughout the UK on the advice of the NHS and GOC.  Any appointments previously booked will unfortunately need to be re-scheduled once the situation allows.

Please do not come to the Practice unless you have been advised to do so by one of our staff as you will not be able to enter.

If you have any concerns regarding your eyes or vision there will be an Optometrist available during the above times to offer advice and triage over the phone.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and support at this difficult time.

We are continuously monitoring the situation and we will re-open our doors as soon as it is safe to do so.

Please stay safe and our very best wishes to you all.
